Module settings

Module Settings

After enabling the module, you can configure its behavior in the Mailbox settings panel.

warning

These settings apply globally across all mailboxes in the system.

Active mailboxes

This setting displays all mailboxes that are currently active in the system.
Each mailbox listed here will be included in the synchronization cycle and will be regularly scanned according to the set frequency.

Internal domains

Here you can define one or more internal domains that should be ignored for mass assignments.
This prevents internal company email addresses or domains from being unintentionally added to ignore lists or automated rules.

Retention period (days)

Defines the retention period for deleted emails (in days).
After deletion, emails are temporarily stored for this duration before being permanently removed from the system.

This setting determines which resources can be attached or linked to emails.
Resources selected here can be manually coupled to emails or automatically detected via serial numbers if applicable.

Only resources that have a direct relationship to an organization (e.g. belongsTo Organization) will appear in this list.
When such a resource is selected, the system will automatically search for matching records upon the creation or update of an email.

Enforcing email imports using BCC-addresses

When enabled, this option ensures that emails containing one of the specified BCC addresses will always be imported,
regardless of user-defined filters or rules.

Public, Confidential and private BCC-addresses

You can optionally define special BCC addresses for public, confidential, and private emails.

If a received email includes one of these addresses in its BCC field:

  • It will always be imported.
  • It will automatically receive the associated confidentiality level (public, confidential, or private).

This mechanism overrides all user-level filters or import restrictions to guarantee proper handling of important or confidential correspondence.
